They know more than you think

I'm used to hearing, "look, mom, a golden eagle" every time we drive somewhere. Seriously, every large bird in the sky is a golden eagle.

So when we were watching Planet Earth a few days ago, a large bird could be seen in the distance on the screen. Jaydn instantly said, "that's a golden eagle." I smirked.

Then, David Attenborough: "The golden eagle soars through the air . . . ."

Huh. I'll never underestimate him again.
