Whitney's Farewell

Saturday night we said our "see-ya's" to Whitney, who's going off to college. ("Goodbye" just sounds so final, don't you think?) Whitney lived with the Murphys, so we had a tasty combination of chips and salsa and ice cream bar at Phil's house.

Afterward we drove down to Maliu-Mai Beach Resort (at about 10:00 pm) and sat on the beach to watch the stars.

Finally, we came home to see our neighbors watching a movie via projector on the side of one of our neighbors' house, kind of like a drive-in.

Can you believe I'm leaving this place in a few days??
